IPEの想像力 4/28/2025
LED照明スタンドの価格が1960円から1万6000円まで大きな違いを示す世界に、わたしはとまどいました。しかし、松下、日立、サンヨー、シャープ、日本の家電産業が消滅するのは当然であると、市場の原理を説く気持ちにはなりません。
優れた冷凍食品で、名店の中華料理が味わえる、レンジでチンする世界に、わたしは圧倒されます。技術革新、インターネット、グローバル・サプライ・チェーン。AIがその変化をさらに加速し、他方で、ドナルド・トランプはこれを阻もうとしています。彼がどれほど悪意と偏向した性格に支配された文明の破壊者であり、普遍的な人間の権利や協力の仕組みを侮蔑する破壊者であっても、今、この世界に対する不満と狂信を集め、社会の底辺からハイテク大富豪にまでいたる政治的な連合運動を組織した天才であることも、認めるしかありません。
ゼミの合宿に行ってもあまり話し合わない学生たち。講義に来ても黙ってスマホをのぞく学生たちに、わたしは不満でした。しかし、講義にだれも参加しなくなると、それどころではなく、焦りました。あきらめる気持ちと、逃げられない宿命のような敗北感が湧きました。

さまざまな変化による複合的な化学変化が、私たちの人間性や「幸せ」の感覚（そして、不安や正義）も変えてしまうのではないでしょうか。
自分であることの意味を見出せなくなった日常（と世界の景観）を、否定したい、という気持ちが広まるのは避けられない。革命的な保守主義、とよばれるような思想や運動が支持される時代を、意図せぬ形で文明世界は準備していたのではないか。
